Walsall Council is inviting unpaid carers living in or supporting someone in the borough to attend informal discussion sessions between 16 and 23 November 2026.

The council wants to hear from carers about what support is working well, where improvements are needed, and what services would make the biggest difference to their lives. Attendance is open to anyone providing occasional support or caring for someone every day.

Session dates and locations

Four sessions are being held across different areas of Walsall:

  • Monday 16 November, 9:30am–1:30pm at Stan Ball Centre, Abbotts Street, Bloxwich, Walsall WS3 3AZ
  • Tuesday 17 November, 9:30am–1:30pm at Aldridge Community Centre, Middlemore Lane, Anchor Meadow, Aldridge, Walsall WS9 8AN

  • Friday 23 November, 9:30am–1:30pm at Aaina Community Hub, 10 Bath Road, Caldmore, Walsall WS1 3BS (ladies only)

What to expect

The sessions will give carers the opportunity to discuss what support and services help them in their caring role, share challenges they face, and highlight where improvements are needed. The council says the sessions will be informal and welcoming.
