Walsall Libraries and Archives are hosting a free public exhibition celebrating Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) history and heritage this month. The displays showcase local stories and communities, running from 16-27 June at three locations across Walsall.
What's on display
The exhibition features local figures including former Mayor of Walsall Pat Collins, a travelling showman and entrepreneur, and Louisa Price, known as the 'Queen of the Gypsies'. Community artwork and accessible information reflecting the diversity of GRT identities and experiences are also included.
Where to visit
The displays are available at three locations: Love Blakenall Community Hub on Thames Road in Bloxwich, Bloxwich Library on Elmore Row, and Willenhall Library on Walsall Street. All locations offer free entry to the public.
