Walsall MakerFest 2026 will take place on Saturday 26 September in Walsall town centre. The event is free to attend and runs from 12pm to 4pm.
MakerFest is described as a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent from Walsall and the Black Country. Walsall Council says the event plays a key role in making Walsall a place where communities thrive.
What to expect
The Makers' Market will feature stalls from artists, crafters, designers, food artisans, tech creatives and others. The event will also include performances, workshops, entertainment and community participation.
Walsall Council is looking for stall holders, community groups, performers, choirs, craft facilitators, workshop facilitators, storytellers and poets to take part.
How to get involved
Applications are now open. The deadline to apply is 21 August 2026. Successful applicants will be notified during the week commencing 24 August 2026.
